The Translation of the Saints

And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; For God took him” – (Gen. 5:24).

By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God” – (Heb.11:5).

Enoch is a type and example of all the saints of God who will soon be translated and raptured when the true church is caught up to meet the Lord Jesus in the air before the great tribulation. Enoch is a type of the believer who is alive at the translation of the church. He was translated up ‘before’ God’s judgment of the flood upon the ungodly in the days of Noah. And the true church will be translated up before the wrath of God falls upon the ungodly during the great tribulation. The word ‘rapture’ is nowhere found in the Bible, and should not be used. Translated is God’s word for sound doctrine. The meaning of ‘rapture’ has nothing to do with the ‘translation.’

Enoch was translated and did not see death nor was he found when they looked for him. He was translated and taken up before he died. Only the KJV is God’s infallible and inerrant truth – only the KJV has the word ‘translated’ in (Heb.11:5). And God has written this perfect word three times so you could know the truth. Other perversions and corrupt ‘translations’ of the Bible like the N.I.V. say ‘taken’ or some other word. They have ‘taken away’ God’s word of truth and are under the curse of God – “And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city…” – (Rev.22:19). The 157 corrupt translations in these end days points to the ‘translation’ soon to come.

Translated means (to remove from one place to another) but it also means to change from one form to another). Both meanings are found in God’s perfect word ‘translated.’ Yes, we shall be ‘caught up’ and ‘taken up,’ but we are also first changed into another form – amen. “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I show you a mystery, We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed – (I Cor.15:50-52). Our flesh and blood bodies cannot enter heaven. We must be changed from a fleshly to a spiritual body, from corruptible to incorruptible, from mortal to immortal, from earthly to heavenly. In a twinkling of an eye we shall be changed into a new glorified body and then taken up. Translated is the perfect word. We must be translated up so we can come back with Him in glory. “When Christ, who is our life, shall appear , then shall ye also appear with him in glory” – (Col.3:4).

In (I Thes.4:13-17) the translation is further described so we are not ignorant of this great event. Verses 16 and 17 say – “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord”. Two groups will be translated – the dead in Christ and the living in Christ. The living church of Christ will disappear like Enoch and will not be found and then will appear with Christ as a part of His heavenly army at the battle of Armageddon – (Rev.19:11-21). The living church is translated because we have been saved from the wrath of God – “For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ” – (I Thes.5:9). Most church members today have never been truly saved and so they rely upon their good works to save them and so they don’t believe in the translation before the tribulation. They desire to die for Christ and be persecuted by the Beast for refusing the mark 666. That will be the lot of those saved during the tribulation, not those who are born again now. The dead in Christ will be translated into a resurrected body and taken up first.

My wife Sharon Rose is 65 years old today – July 1st, 2007. God led me to Enoch in (Gen.5:21) “And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah. And the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years.” What a great blessing it is for us who are saved by the blood of Christ and are past the retirement age of 65 and see ourselves getting old and approaching death. To know that at any moment, the trumpet can blow and translate us out of this sin -cursed world. And to know that if we die first, and the rapture trumpet blows we shall be translated and resurrected from death unto eternal life. Enoch lived on earth the great cycle – a year for a day – of 365 years. God took him at that age to give us an example of a godly human being who has fulfilled his years upon this earth and now inherits eternal life. The ‘365’ stands for years of life on earth and eternal life in heaven.

Enoch walked with God and he pleased God with his walk of faith. He had fellowship with God – (Amos 3:3) says – “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” Are you in agreement with God? Are you saved and walking with Jesus? Enoch walked with God when the whole world lived ungodly. “And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God, as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them: and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them,, and be ye separate saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you” – (2 Cor.6:17,18). Those who are born again have the Holy Spirit in them, two become one flesh, and your walk should be a Christ-like walk as a child of God. “I have on greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth” – (3 John 4). Again – “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked” – (I Jn.2:6). Walk with God, O saint of God, and await the translation, because as with Enoch so shall it be with you.

Enoch was the seventh from Adam and he preached prophetic messages about the soon second coming of the Lord Jesus in wrath – “And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him” – (Jude 14,15). Enoch is a type or a representative of the believers who will take part in the translation. Enoch was translated from the earth before the judgment of the flood came upon the earth. And the believers who compose the true church will be removed from the earth and will be caught up to meet the Lord before the judgment of the great tribulation breaks upon the earth. Immediately after the great tribulation, the Lord Jesus will return to earth with His saints and they shall share in this glorious return. And it will be a time of judgment upon all the ungodly. If the church does come back with Christ, obviously it had to leave the earth some time before. You simply must believe in the translation if you believe that Christ is coming back to earth with His saints. And to reinforce this doctrine, God has Enoch, the translated one, prophesy of this very thing.

Many have used Noah as an example of the church going through the great tribulation period. But Noah represents, not the church, but those in the world who are going to be saved during the great tribulation. They are the 144,000 Jews and a great multitude of Gentiles from every nation as God remembers mercy in the midst of wrath. Enoch is the man who represents the true church at this time. Enoch didn’t go through the flood. He had been translated – he was not in the ark. God could have put him in the ark, but he didn’t. He could have kept Enoch in safety during the flood, but instead He removed him. And that is what He is going to do with His church.

Many are telling Christians today to run away and hide somewhere as survivalists in order to make it through the tribulation. But Enoch shows us to walk with God in the midst of the ungodly, keeping our eye on the soon coming translation. If Enoch walked with God for 300 years, we can for a few years.

Enoch’s favorite word was ‘ungodly.’ He saw this world as ungodly. His own society was wicked and ungodly and as he looked down through history to these end times, all he could see was – ungodly – ungodly – ungodly. Are you walking with Jesus? Then you must see the world as Enoch saw it – ungodly and full of the Antichrist spirit. How can you be a friend of the ungodly? How can you associate with those that He’s coming to judge? Are you a saint or an aint? The undeniable effect on all who walk with God is a growing hatred for sins and separation from sin. Preach to the ungodly – not fellowship with them.

Be an Enoch. He was not of this world, so God took him out of this world. Day by day, year after year, he was getting closer to God, dying daily to this world, heading home. Finally as he was taking one more godly step, God translated him and took him home permanently.

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, not sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish” – (Ps.1:1-6).

Before we’ve saved we’re all ungodly – “without God in this world” – (Eph.2:12). But praise the Lord Jesus the ungodly can get saved by believing on Christ in their heart by faith – “But beliveth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness” – (Rom.4:5). Again – “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly” - (Rom.5:6). If you’ve not saved and born again, repent of your sins and believe on Christ by faith and you will receive forgiveness of sins and become a new creature in Christ – born again – “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things become new” – (2 Cor.5:17).

Avail yourself of God’s mercy and grace in His beloved Son on the cross who died and shed His precious atoning blood for you. Be like Godly Enoch, the son of Jared, and walk with God. Don’t be like worldly, ungodly Enoch, the son of wicked Cain – (Gen.4:17). (Col.1:12,13) says – “.. which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.” God is the great translator who spiritually translates saved people into new creatures in Christ. He translates His saints into the light of Christ’s kingdom out of the darkness of Satan’s kingdom. “For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light” – (Eph.5:8).

The new birth changes us and spiritually translates us and when the translation trumpet sounds, then we shall be physically translated into a new body and taken to heaven. Living or dead you will be physically translated to heaven with an incorruptible body and receive eternal life – “And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life” – (I Jn.2:25).

Be saved and translated today!

And be ready for the translation trumpet.
