NO DIFFERENCE

And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith” – (Acts 15:9).

“For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” – (Rom.10:12,13).

At the church council meeting in Jerusalem, Peter stood up and rehearsed how God used him to open the door of faith and preach to the Gentiles. There is no difference between us and them. Anybody in the world, any nation, and people, and tongue, any color – whosoever will repent of his sins and believe on Christ in their hearts by faith will be saved and become one in Christ.

Peter received a vision form the Lord Jesus of a great sheet that had all kinds of unclean things on it. And the Lord said – “Rise, Peter; kill and eat. But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. And the voice spoke unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common” – (Acts 10:13-15). Peter got the message – “… God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean… of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him” – (Acts 10:28,34,35). Again – “…Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life” – (Acts 11:18). Whosoever, Jew or Gentile, can be saved from their sins by the great sacrifice of the Lord Jesus on the cross. 99.7% of the world are Gentiles, and .3% of the world are Jews – PTL for the Jewish Savior, PTL Jesus.

It is written, “But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us” – (Eph.2:13,14). God had called us to “preach the gospel to every creature” – (Mk.16:15). And God help the preacher who refuses to preach to a man because he’s a different nationality or a different color. This is fundamental to God’s preacher and he’s not fit to preach if he won’t obey. These all white churches and all black churches in the U.S. who refuse to allow a different color to come to their church and become a member of the church because they won’t have blacks and whites marrying, are heretics and should be branded as such.

Peter officially started preaching to the Gentiles with Cornelius, but Philip preached to the first Gentile who was saved, the black Ethiopian eunuch – (Acts 8:26). Maybe Philip should have said like a lot of preachers say today – “I don’t preach to blacks and they’re not allowed in my church.”

Three times God told Peter to eat what was on the sheet and he refused. The great sheet is like a giant table cloth: the Lord’s Table is open to all – there is no difference. Will you share the Lord’s Table and your home table with a saved Christian, no matter his color? Maybe instead you’ll join the KKK and wrap a sheet around you with eyeholes and burn down a cross in a black’s yard. We are not to call anyone common. It’s a “common faith” – (Tit.1:4) and a “common salvation” – (Jude 3). The cross is common ground – it’s open to all. There is no longer us and them in Christ.

We all are sinners, there is no difference. “…for there is no difference: for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” – (Rom.3:22,23). Do you love the sinner no matter his skin color or nationality? Do you have compassion on the lost souls on the way to a fiery hell? “And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh” – (Jude 22,23). Make a difference and save souls from a fiery hell. Be one of God’s firemen and preach to anyone that will come to Christ and be saved.

Are you saved and born again in Christ? If not, repent of your sins and believe on Christ in your heart by faith and you will receive forgiveness of sins and become a new born creature in Christ. Born again describes what happens to you when you’re truly saved. You receive a new heart and a new Holy Spirit and your old man dies spiritually with Christ on the cross and you become a new holy man. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” – (2 Cor.5:17). You’ll be saved from the lake of fire and receive eternal life. “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his son” – (I Jn.5:11). “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire” – (Rev.20:15).
