JESUS – THE CAPITALIZED ONE
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” “And he called his name JESUS.” (Mt.1:21,25).
This sermon exalts the name Jesus and the Word of God which is the King James Bible.
Jesus is the preeminent one. He’s the capitalized one. He’s the head. He’s the chief and most important one. Capital bold-faced letters are used here for His name. And I’m going to preach on most of the bold-faced capitalized words in the Bible. All the capitalized words in the Old Testament point directly to Jesus and are fulfilled in His capitalized name - JESUS. Jesus is the only human capitalized in all of the bible. In the Old Testament it’s God’s name capitalized and only Jesus in the New Testament – Jesus is the Word – He is God.
(Mt.27:37) “And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.” Jesus – for he shall save his people from their sins, and here on the cross, He’s the savior, saving the people of God from their sins. He is capitalized at his birth and his death – (the most important times). He’s number one – uno numero. The number one most important person. He stands out prominently – boldly – like his bold capitalized name – preeminently. Hear (Philip.2:9,10) “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” God has a human name now – Jesus-Savior.
JESUS is not capitalized in the New International Perversion – He is not in bold-faced capitalized print so He can stand out prominently and preeminently. It lessens and shrinks him in size and reduces him in stature. This bible perversion lowers Him in status and dignity and decreases him. This ‘book’ has no Holy Spirit of truth. Stay with the infallible, preserved word of God – the King James Bible.
In all four gospels only Jesus is capitalized. Absolutely nobody or nothing else is capitalized. God is showing us that only His beloved Son is worthy to be set above every other name and to be prominently displayed. Jesus stands out in solitary grandeur – He’s preeminent. Preeminent means (having paramount rank, dignity or importance – outstanding). (Col.1:14-18) describes Jesus perfectly (especially vs.18) “And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the first born from the dead: that in all things he might have the preeminence.”
is written in (Rev.19:16) about Jesus’ second coming – “And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”
The most important and highly exalted one in a nation is the king and the most
important and highly exalted one in the whole earth is the emperor – king of
kings that rules over the whole earth. The whole universe and also those in
hell will bow the knee and worship Him. He’s coming back in power and great
glory carrying His title on His vest and thigh in bold-faced capitalized print
to stand out in all His grandeur. The greatest title ever displayed on earth. The head of world politics and world religion, and ruling from
In (Acts ) it says – “TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.” And Paul declared Jesus to them. Paul is saying, just erase these capitalized letters of the unknown God and write the name JESUS there. When you receive Jesus as your savior and are born again, then you know God. God is no longer the unknown God way far off. But he becomes your Abba, your father. You’re now a child of God and God is your Father. Jesus said in (Jn.8:19) “Ye neither know me nor my father: If ye had known me, ye should have known my father also.” Yes – the unknown God – becomes the known God when Jesus saves you. And one day His name will replace all the false Gods on this earth. The devil, the God of this world, capitalizes on the blindness of men’s hearts and seeks to place his name in capitalized letters, but it will come to an end when Jesus comes back as Lord of Lords.
(Jer.23:6) “THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” This is another most important title of the Lord Jesus – He’s the Lord Jesus our righteousness. When he saves us we are made the righteousness of God in him – “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2 Cor.5:21). The Lord Jesus is our righteousness by making satisfaction to the justice of God for the sins of man. He has brought in everlasting righteousness. Our righteousness is provided by God the Father through his beloved Son. “Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all that believe” – (Rom.3:22). O the capitalized one is our righteousness – he’s the Lord Jesus our Righteousness. – Amen.
says “And upon her forehead was a name
In (Ex.3:14) Moses asks God, what is his name? and God says – “I AM THAT I AM” yes, the name of God is capitalized and rightly so. And when Jesus was born His name was capitalized because He is God. He’s the great I AM. Jesus is God’s human name. When Jesus said I am, his persecutors fell backward and when the Jews heard Him say “Before Abraham was, I am” – (Jn.8:48) they knew He professed to be the I Am. – And so He is.
(Ex.28:36) “HOLINESS TO THE LORD” was engraved on the forefront of the
high priest’s mitre. This symbolizes the holiness of
the Lord Jesus, our high priest, “Who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate
from sinners, and made higher than the heavens” – (Heb.7:26). We born again
saints are to “Be ye
holy, for God is holy.” And live a Godly, holy life “Perfecting holiness in the fear of God” – (2 Cor.7:1). Jesus is
called “The holy one” in the bible.
We ascribe holiness to the Lord
Jesus – amen. And (Zach.14:20) tells us that during the millennial
It is written in (Du.28:58) “That thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD.” Jesus is God – he’s the Lord Jesus Christ. The apostle Thomas, when he placed his hands into the nail prints of Jesus’ resurrected body said – “My Lord and my God” – (Jn.20:28). Yes – Jesus Christ is Lord. People worship many false gods and lords on earth, but we worship the only true God and Lord – Jesus Christ is Lord. He’s the capitalized one.
In (Is.12:2 and 26:4) we see “God is my salvation” and “The lord JEHOVAH.” That’s the savior – Jesus dying on the cross to save us. “He is become my salvation.” We don’t save ourselves by our works – Jesus saves us. Jesus is the Lord Jehovah. The Old Testament Lord Jehovah who is salvation becomes the New Testament Lord Jesus whose name means savior. God wants you to plainly see who the Lord Jehovah is – so he has capitalized JEHOVAH AND JESUS. When you’re saved by Jesus, you’re a Jesus witness, not a Jehovah’s Witness.
(Zach.3:8 and ) we see – “Behold the man, whose name is the BRANCH.” In (Jn.19:15) Pilate said
of Jesus – “Behold the man” and then
he crucified Him on the branch.
Jesus carried the cursed branch of the tree to
Praise the Lord Jesus – He’s the head chief. He’s God and he deserves to be capitalized. All the capitalized bold-faced words point to Jesus, the only human name in all the bible that is capitalized in bold block form. Jesus Christ is both the Son of God and the Son of man. Jesus Christ is Lord. He stands alone in solitary grandeur – He’s preeminent and prominent. And in the King James Bible He is given his rightful exaltation and glory and when He comes back we shall see the proof of this.
Have you received Jesus as your Lord and Savior by repentance of sin and faith in Him? Have you become a whole new creature in Christ? Are you born again of the Holy Spirit? “Marvel out that I said unto thee, ye must be born again” – (Jn.3:7). “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away: behold, all things are become new” – (2 Cor.5:17). I persuade you in Christ’s stead – be saved. Don’t be a church hypocrite and a make-believer and a fake-believer on your way to hell with your church membership. Receive Him who has the greatest name in the universe. Be saved and magnify the name of Jesus. There’s just something about that name.
There is a name I love to hear, I love to sing its worth
It sounds like music in mine ear, the sweetest name on earth
Oh, how I love Jesus, because he first loved me.
JESUS THE CAPITALIZED ONE
Amen and Amen
